Environmentally Friendly: These glasses are made in the UK from 50% recycled plastic (PET – type 1) (think fruit punnets, smoothie cups, fizzy drink bottles). PET is already the UK’s most sought after plastic for recycling, and after use, these glasses can be easily recycled again. Overall, we believe recycled PET cups are the most environmentally friendly option available – certainly more environmentally friendly than ‘biodegradable’ plastic glasses. Useful: It is approved by Trading Standards as half pint to line, which means it is slightly oversized. This makes it perfect for cider with ice or real ale, or simply where you want to avoid spillage.
