Plastic Tumblers
A tumbler is a general purpose drinking-glass without a stem. The Oxford English Dictionary says that tumblers originally had rounded bottoms so as not to stand upright. This was to discourage the user from putting the glass down until all the drink was finished.

You will notice that some of the plastic tumblers are labelled “crystal clear” and others are labelled “flexible”. The former are made from crystal polystyrene and are similar to the type of glass that you would find in use on an airliner. The flexible ones are made from a plastic called polypropylene. They appear slightly opaque compared the crystal clear plastic tumblers but are more robust and less prone to cracking.
