Vending & Water Cooler Cups

Because plastic cups are now commodity it is easy to think of them as all being the same. However, when you are selling them to your customers, the following factors need to be considered:

Weight: The lighter the weight, the cheaper they are. However, they are also more flimsy and you should be aware of end-user rejection in some situations. A genuine counterweight to the 'flimsy' objection is that less plastic material is a good thing for the environment. Pack size: Most of the popular cups are available in pack sizes of 1000, 2000 and 3000. The smaller the pack size, the more packaging is involved and the higher the cost. However, some customers will demand smaller packs because they cannot store large boxes. This is especially true for customers of water cooler cups. Colour and Style: Traditionally water cups should be transparent or pale blue, coffee cups are mocha or brown, general purpose drinking cups are white. Larger sizes have become more popular in recent years.
